Travel Alert – Thailand 23 2014: Travel Clinic London
Travellers to Thailand are advised to monitor the advice being given by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) following the recent coup and imposition of martial law and curfew by the Thai Army across the country; a curfew has been imposed across Thailand from 10pm to 5am.
Travellers should allow extra time to travel within the country due to military checkpoints and are advised to stay away from any protests or demonstrations as the situation can change rapidly.
Around 800,000 British visit Thailand every year. The chief of the Thai Army has assured the safety of all foreigners in the country. Should you be planning to visit Thailand however, please keep up-to-date with announcements from the FCO.
