British Virgin Islands (BVI)
With so many gorgeous islands to explore in the BVI, it’s not easy choosing between snorkelling on Lambert beach, Tortola, or riding an ATV on Jost Van Dyke before picnicking at the beach. On Tortola, you can swim with dolphins, or sail off on a tour to exclusive Beef island. Cruise over to Salt Island where the mail packet RMS Rhone sunk in a hurricane in 1867, and split into two sections. Her bow lies at a depth of 80 feet and the stern at 60. This is actually considered one of the world’s best wreck dives.
Be sure to set aside at least a day to enjoy Virgin Gorda, and visit Gorda Peak National park, or the famous granite grottos of the Baths. Before you start packing, your first stop on your way to the British Virgin Islands should be a visit to our Travel Health Clinic, four to eight weeks before departure, so that you will be completely safe and up-to-date with the Vaccinations you need for the British Virgin Islands.
